Nooka Zizm zenH: Refracted Crystal Lens Distorts Time

 |  |  |

Written by Range | October 14, 2011

Nooka’s new Zizm zenH watch not only has a weird name, but looks pretty strange at first glance, because that’s when you realize that something crazy is going on with the watch’s crystal. Once you get past this, the face is pretty familiar if you know Nookas.

The top two rows display the hours, while the third one is reserved for minutes. The fourth one shows the seconds. The unique thing about this watch is that it’s got a refracted surface on its crystal, which distorts the view of the face. The faceted patterns is continued throughout the band of the watch, which is available in either titanium or blue.

The strap is fashioned out of silicone, and the watch is all angles and squares. Both colors are available on pre-sale for $375 (USD), and ships starting on October 24th.
