If you’re a fan of classic Apple computers, here’s a fun afternoon project for you. What we’ve got here are tiny papercraft models of the original Apple I and Apple II computers.
Actually, the original Apple I didn’t even come with a case, but the papercraft design is based roughly on some of the handmade wooden cases which resellers made for the granddaddy of personal computers. I like how the Apple II includes the old 5-1/4″ floppy drive and one of those crappy old 9-inch black and white CRT monitors that I had almost entirely blocked out of my memory.
Sure, the details aren’t precise on these models, but they’re good enough to embody the spirit of these classic computing dinosaurs. If you’d like to make these for yourself, you can grab the hi-res PDF templates over at Paper Replika.
