I’ve seen loads of different Star Wars promos over the years, but this epic Star Wars battle is a pretty good one. To celebrate the official launch of BioWare’s Star Wars: The Old Republic video game, EA set an army of Jedi and Sith loose on Times Square, lightsabers in hand.
Do you ever wish you could stream stuff from your iPhone or iPod Touch to your computer display? Then this AOC display could be the one for you. It features a 30-pin dock that outputs audio and video directly from your iOS device to the screen.
It’s one thing to stick an LED in a prosthetic eye, but to place it in a contact lens and then place the lens in your still working eye? Gross. Also not as impressive. But YouTuber/tinkerer/proto-Adam Jensen Ben Krasnow did it nonetheless.
Now I don’t exactly remember the part of Pac-Man where you smash the ghosts with your giant fists of doom, but I suppose that would have been pretty cool. At least now you can try and replicate that gameplay dynamic at home with these Pac-Man and ghost stress balls.
If you have kids and they’re anything like mine, they are apt to bust out singing and dancing at any given moment to some sort of soundtrack in their heads. One episode of Dancing with the Stars, my daughter danced with her cat and after a talk about how kitty’s legs don’t move like our arms, poor ol’ Cutie still fears music.
This officially-licensed 1966 Batmobile replica isn’t as destructive as the 21st century Batman’s Tumbler, but at least you can drive this one on the streets. Imagine riding this home for the holidays this year. You’ll be a smash, but only if you live some place warm because even if it has a flamethrower, you’ll get a bit cold and wet if you’re not careful enough.
I really feel bad for the people that are working at OnStar answering phones Christmas Eve. OnStar and NORAD have announced that they are again teaming up to help owners of GM vehicles and the OnStar FMV mirror track Santa’s whereabouts on his trip around the world.
If I had a million bucks to spare, I’d probably open up a business, or invest it in something that could make the money grow. Then I’d eventually donate a percentage to charity, set aside some money for a vacation with my family, get a whole new wardrobe, and probably get a lot of more stuff that I normally wouldn’t.
This one is for you Batman fans. If you’ve been playing Batman: Arkham City, (Of course you have been) it might be time to check out the new Challenge Map Pack DLC, which includes Batman’s lair: the Batcave.
Are you the type of gamer who enjoys playing retro games, especially the ones that you loved when you were younger? Well check out Mega Man X, which was just released for the iPhone and iPod Touch (sorry no iPad version yet.)
I don’t cook a lot. And when I do, it usually ends up in disaster: either it ends up getting undercooked (because I have no patience and think it’s done when it’s really not) or overcooked (because I forgot all about it and left the stove on without switching the timer on.)
Ladies, how’d you like it if there was a beauty treatment which promised to reduce wrinkles, redness, scars and acne, all without any fancy dermatologists involved. How would you feel if I told you you had to wear a mask that made you look like Jason from Friday the 13th in order to reap such rewards?
The versatility and infinite use of LEGO bricks are the main reasons for the Danish toy company’s enduring success. But I think another reason why the company stays in the public’s eye is because of tie-ins with popular fictional franchises like Batman and Indiana Jones.
