Kids love Happy Meals. And why not? You get a burger, some fries and a drink as well as a swell toy to push around on the table while you are eating. Now McDonalds Japan is taking the whole thing to a new level with exclusive Nintendo 3DS content as the freebie.

It makes sense as most kids who own a 3DS have it with them at all times. Besides, these days, this is the kind of toy kids want. The DLC in question is Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3 and is basically four exclusive downloadable items that will be offered over four weeks.

But that’s not all, for a limited time, McDonalds Japan will be giving away a free 3DS game of its own called McDonald’s Slime Ship Battle DX. When you complete the mini-game your reward will be a one-day reusable coupon that you can exchange for even more junk food. This is truly a “happy meal” for 3DS fans over there.
