Aluminum “Dragonhide” Gauntlets: for Hipster LARPers

 |  |  |  |  |  |  |  February 24, 2012

Looking for a way to both keep your arms warm and be prepared for when a medieval clash breaks out? Browse Etsy seller Crystal Idyll’s array of dragonhide gauntlets. By dragonhide she means anodized aluminum, BTW. I didn’t know my computer was made from a dead dragon’s carcass.

The aluminum scales are knitted on top of black acrylic yarn. Crystal Idyll didn’t provide any fantasy equivalent for acryclic yarn. The scales come in different colors and the gauntlets are available in different lengths as well.

Don the rest of your armor and head to Etsy to order your own pair of dragonhide gauntlets. Crystal Idyll sells them for $55-$119(USD).
