My grandmother used to have one of those portable, foldable stools that one of us grandkids had to carry around whenever we went out. That way, she’d have something to sit on when she felt tired or when she wanted to take a quick rest.Suffice it to say, they weren’t the most comfortable, portable chairs around. So when I saw the Miesrolo, I immediately thought that they’d make a perfect fit for her.
Designer Uros Vitas’ Miesrolo foldable chair is sturdy and provides ample space for the human butt to sit on. (Those portable stools I told you about? They provide enough seating space that’s fit for a baby’s bottom!)
Aside from that, the Miesrolo is easy to stow away and carry around because all you have to do is roll it up and you’re done. It has actually been here a while, as it won several design contests and awards back in 2006 and 2007. Hopefully, it gets produced soon though because I’d definitely want to get two (one for me, and one for my grandma.)
