Robot USB Hub: No Transformer But Still Cooler than Yours

USB hubs can be slightly boring, especially when you go through them quickly. It’s one of those pieces of hardware that easily breaks down due to either cheap construction, the constant plugging and unplugging of devices, or both. That being said, there’s no reason why you can’t have fun the next time you replace yours. Here’s a Robot USB Hub that might make you chuckle a bit while you plug in your peripherals.

When the little robot sits down, you get full access to the 4 USB ports it hides while standing up. Otherwise, you can play around with it while something loads on your computer. The LED eyes act as “indicator lights” which I assume light up when there’s data being transferred – or possibly just when devices are plugged in. Or maybe when the robot is getting ready to attack you.

Better yet, according to the photo above, there will be Tapas. Delicious Robot Tapas. I can only imagine ball bearings in spicy tomato sauce. The Robot USB Hub is also nice and cheap – Focalprice sells these for $5.79 (USD) each. What’s not to like?
