Grabit Unlocks Only If It Recognizes Your Fingerprint

Security is a big deal these days. And if you think normal and traditional locks just don’t cut it, then here’s a concept that I’m sure you’ll find interesting: the Grabit.

GrabitIt’s basically a door knob with an integrated fingerprint scanner. The door will only unlock if it recognizes the fingerprint of the opener, so it keeps unwanted and unknown people out. The scanner is positioned just right so you can have your print scanned as you turn the door handle.

Grabit is also equipped with a LED indicator that will blink red if it’s not closed properly to remind the person to shut the door right.
