Fans of the Song of Ice and Fire series of books by George R.R. Martin (and the HBO TV show Game of Thrones) will love this adorable “First Nameday” cake, featuring Arya Stark and her wolf Nymeria. Not to mention cupcakes. Lots and lots of cupcakes.
This cake was made by JB Cada and Stephanie Santos from the Philippines-based bakery, The Regali Kitchen. It is very nicely detailed. Arya even has her sword Needle with her, ready to dispense of any foe.
It looks delicious and is made with dark chocolate cake with light caramel frosting and edible sugarpaste toppers, strawberry lemonade cupcakes and hand-painted edible toppers. The Starks may have to change the words of their house now to, “Dessert is Coming.” This cake is too geeky and pretty to eat though I would be sorely tempted.
