 |  |  |  |  June 7, 2012

If you have wanted to upgrade your smartphone to a new iPhone, but you wanted to use a prepaid network, Virgin Mobile has your fix. The company has announced that it will have the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S available for purchase on June 29th. The smartphone will be offered with no contract and no activation fees.

Buyers will also pay nothing for roaming and can get plans for as low as $30 per month. The iPhone on the Virgin Mobile network will be offered for purchase online and at RadioShack or Best Buy retail stores. You had better raid your piggy bank though, because neither of the iPhones Virgin Mobile offer are cheap.

An 8 GB iPhone 4 will cost $549(USD), with a 16 GB iPhone 4S costing $649. The upside is if you sign up for recurring monthly billing with a credit card for $30 a month you get 300 voice minutes, unlimited SMS, and unlimited data. Cough up $40 a month and you get 1200 voice minutes and with unlimited data and texting. For $50 a month voice, texting, and data are unlimited.
