Here in Chicago, winter’s icy grip is decending upon us – so the idea of popping open the BBQ grill is a little untimely. But that doesn’t make this Treasure Chest Barbecue Grill any less awesome.
The grill was custom-made by Randy McKnight of Fire Sculpture Art, and was crafted from heavy steel with baked-on powdercoat finish that should have no problem withstanding the high heat of grilling up your favorite meats (and seafoods of course).
The Etsy listing for the BBQ also mentions that the finish is bulletproof, in case any other pirates should come around and try to steal your delicious edible booty. (Boy that doesn’t sound right.) Of course, if your neighbors happen to invade your backyard party with a cannon instead of a musket, all bets are off.
All of this awesomeness does come with a high pricetag though – the Treasure Chest BBQ is listed at $11,500 (USD). Sounds like you’ll have to find a real treasure chest filled with gold bullion before you can buy one.
