If you’ve got yourself a shiny new iPad Mini – or you’re expecting one under the tree this year – you might want to check out this intriguing case design that’s currently in development.
Instead of just offering protection for the iPad Mini, the Web case adds storage. No, not more memory, silly – actual, physical storage space. First, it adds a plastic bumper to shield the edges of your Mini from damage, and on top of that it provides a webbed elastic back that can hold stuff for you.
While it might busy up the clean lines of the iPad Mini, there’s no questioning the utility of the Web case. You can use it to carry around a spare pen, business cards, or even a small note pad – letting you travel light to meetings.
The Web is going into production from the fine folks over at crowdsourcing design site Quirky, where they’re currently soliciting feedback on pricing, with a current projected price of just $11(USD) – of course that could change with time. No word yet on a release date, though.
