I do love listening to music through earphones and headphones. I can remember that once I was in a jam when my single pair broke, so these days I have multiple pairs on hand, just to make sure that this never happens again. These French headphones look like they might make a nice addition to my collection, however there won’t be many available.
The Aëdle VK-1 headphones use high-quality materials like aluminum and lamb’s leather. The finish looks really great, and they are supposed to have good audio quality. They feature 40mm titanium-neodymium drivers, set into in a minimalistic body. Frequency response is spec’d at 20hZ to 20kHz with a maximum SPL of 129db.
The Aëdle Vk-1 will be available in two versions, limited to 400 and 100 pairs, respectively. The first is the Classic, and it sells for €250 (~$325 USD). The second is the Carbon Limited Edition, and they will sell for €275 (~$360 USD). Aëdle is accepting pre-orders now for delivery in February 2013.
