I know you can’t wait for the third season of Game of Thrones when it hits at the end of March. Me too. Well, here is something to help tide you over until then. This amazingly detailed Minecraft King’s Landing was created by the people at Westeroscraft – who are gradually recreating the entire domain of Westeros using only Minecraft. 

An engineer in Russia has decided that building humanoid robots has been done enough, so he decided to go and build his own two-legged ‘bots to take on Honda’s Asimo and other bipedal machines. Despite being built in Russia, what you’re looking at here is something I like to call “TurkeyBot.”

The Optimus Maximus keyboard from Art Lebedev was cool, but it was way too expensive for most people, especially since keyboards are used so often and can break over time. I can only imagine what repetitive typing would do to all of those expensive little OLED displays.

Ah, the original Macintosh computer. It was an amazing machine to have in your home, especially when most of the other available computers were a bit more complex to use. The Macintosh made things easier, with its graphical user interface, and apps like MacPaint and MacWrite.

One of the things that a lot of people have long lamented as missing from the iPhone is near field communications technology. NFC technology allows smartphones to do all sorts of interesting things such as share content or make purchases by simply holding the phone close to a compatible device.

We’ve seen an amigurumi of Old Snake before, but I like the young Solid Snake much better than that bitter – but heroic! – old fart. Which is why if I had this amigurumi I would hug it so tightly a ration would come out before I even dropped it.

Considering I’m a huge fan of science fiction, first person shooters, and video games, on paper you would expect me to enjoy the Dead Space franchise. In reality, I’ve never been a big fan of the series.

I love the classic Kenner Star Wars action figures. I still have many of these originals in my toy collection. That said, I haven’t been impressed by many of the Star Wars action figure lines since.

Etsy artist Nastalgame sells plastic jewelry inspired by the hearts from The Legend of Zelda. There’s a necklace, a bracelet, a ring and two different types of earrings. The hearts can also be “broken”, in case you’re not feeling particularly romantic.
