Most of us love chocolate, but like most candy, eating too much of it can make you fat and rot your teeth. But thanks to modern technology, you’ll soon be able to taste chocolate without consuming a single calorie.
Cravings are a new kind of edible treat that work to satisfy your desire for delicious flavors, but without sugar, fats or calories. Cravings work like those dissolvable breath strips, but instead of tasting like mouthwash, they taste yummy. In fact, the first flavor of Cravings in the works is everyone’s favorite – chocolate.
Ian Goldfarb, the man behind Cravings would love to create additional flavors down the road too. Those who purchase chocolate Cravings will get a chance to vote on the next flavor. Personally, I vote for the three-course dinner flavor from Willy Wonka.
Each pack of Cravings comes with 24 strips, and even if you down them all in one session, you won’t gain an ounce. Cravings is raising funds for production on Kickstarter between now and June 6. A $10 pledge will get you a single pack, while $25 will get you three packs, $45 buys you six and if you’re really a chocoholic, go for the 20-pack for $90, which will give you 480 strips of chocolate.
I haven’t had a chance to taste a sample of Cravings yet, so I can’t vouch for their flavor or aroma, but the idea seems like a great one, so I’m hoping they get produced.
