Cover Blubber: Plastic Wrap from the Future

 |  |  |  May 12, 2014

If you have lots of leftovers around your house that you want to save, be it plates of food or fruit you didn’t finish, you are provably adept at using foil or plastic wrap to keep it fresh. A futuristic version of plastic wrap is now available called Cover Blubber and it looks pretty awesome.

These stretchy round discs can be pulled to fit just about any shape. You can put them right on fresh fruit and I would assume they could be stretched to cover bowls or other objects as well.

When not in use, the reusable covers look like a one eyed blowfish that is puffed up with its mouth open.

The covers come in 3-inch to 12-inch diameter. You can even use them on non-food items like paint cans and other stuff. You can get a set of four of these covers for $19.99(USD) over at ThinkGeek. Be warned, you can’t microwave these or put them in the dishwasher.
