Groot and Rocket Raccoon Collectible Figures: Guardians of Your Cubicle

 |  |  |  |  |  July 22, 2014

Of all the movies hitting theaters this summer, the one I am looking forward to the most is Guardians of the Galaxy. Two of the more interesting creatures in the film are Rocket Raccoon and Groot. Groot is a tree-like character who only speaks three words, and Rocket Raccoon is self-explanatory. Hot Toys has  recently revealed their incredibly detailed action figures based on the characters.

The statues are 1:6 scale and Rocket is 6-inches tall with Groot standing over 15-inches tall. Rocket has over 17 points of articulation, while Groot has 15. Each comes with interchangeable hands, and Rocket comes with his weapon, naturally.

If you are a fan of these two characters, you can pre-order the statues individually or as a pair. Shipping should kick off in March 2015, which is a long time after the movie debuts in theaters in a couple weeks. I would think the statues would want to launch right around the time the movie does.

These aren’t exactly cheap coming in at $360(USD) for the pair, which includes bonus components not found with the individual figures.
