Seatylock Combines a Bicycle Seat and a Bike Lock

Do you forget to take your bike lock with you when you ride? Maybe you don’t forget, but it’s a hassle to carry one all the time. Well, Seatylock is a clever new bicycle lock that will always be with you. Because it doubles as your seat.

Seatylock’s bike seat detaches from the bike frame and becomes a lock, preventing thieves from stealing your ride home. The great thing about this design is that the rider doesn’t have to carry a standalone lock. It’s a cool idea that kills two birds with one stone.

If you like what you see, the project is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter. A pledge of at least $85(USD) will get you one for your bike.
