DIY GameCube Controller Adapter for Nintendo 3DS: Super Smash Bros. Bros

Earlier this year we featured modder dekuNukem’s custom made Nintendo 3DS peripheral that hatches eggs and finds shiny Pokémon in Pokémon X/Y. His latest hack lets you play on the 3DS using a GameCube controller, a perfect setup for Super Smash Bros.

Using an Arduino Nano, dekuNukem made a detachable adapter that takes input from a GameCube controller and translates the input for the 3DS.

He hooks up an LCD display from an old phone when he wants to adjust the button mapping.
