Anti Tagging App Makes You Untaggable

 |  |  |  |  |  |  October 9, 2014

Social media has made it easier for people to – for lack of a better word – spy on other people. Wondering where your ex went last night? Curious about your crush’s current whereabouts? Just go to their profile and check out the pics that they’re tagged in, which most likely has their location tagged, too.
Anti Tagging App

If your not a fan of Facebook’s facial recognition algorithm that lets users automatically tag others in an instant, then let your sentiments be felt by uploading a couple of pics of your own. Not regular pics, but shots that have gone through the Anti Tagging app. It basically detects people’s faces in the pics and glitches them out.

Glitched face = no tag. Your picture is basically ruined in the process, but at least you’ve got your privacy back. Anti Tagging is available for iOS, and you can download it here. Sadly, it’s currently broken on iOS8, but an updated release has been submitted and should be available shortly.
