R2-D2 Carry-on Is the Suitcase You’re Looking For

by Shane McGlaun

Traveling by air can be a pain, there never seems to be an overhead bin near where I sit because some wanker puts three bags up there rather than putting some under their seat. While it won’t solve that problem, at least you can make traveling by air a bit more fun with this cool R2-D2 suitcase.

The suitcase should be round ideally, but a round bag wouldn’t fit the airline criteria for carry-ons, so deal with it. What you get is an FAA size-approved carry-on with four wheels and a design that looks like everyone’s favorite droid.

The case has two zippers for easy access and the interior is fully lined and has a divider. That divider has an integrated pocket measuring 16×7 perfect for charge cables and the like. It’s made made from ABS and PC and is officially-licensed Star Wars merchandise. The suitcase is available for $79.99(USD) at ThinkGeek.

Now all you need is a protocol droid manservant to pull your luggage through the airport for you and you’ll be all set.
