Steampunk Game Boy: Got Brass in Pocket

 |  |  |  December 17, 2014

This steampunk Nintendo Game Boy is the portable gaming choice of the distinguished gentleman or lady who wants to game while riding in the coach or on a steamship cruise. It’s classy. An elegant console from a more civilized age.

This Game Boy makeover is an instant classic thanks to all of those gears and brass bits. I wonder if it plays Super Jules Verne World. This work of art was created by artist Elise Siegwald. She used thread, acrylic paint, and clock machinery to alter the outside while leaving it functional so that you can use it.

I love what she did with the screen. Great work Elise. I would love to see what she can do with the other Nintendo consoles.
