Robots Dress up and Dance for Christmas

 |  |  |  December 18, 2014

‘Tis the season. Even robots are getting into the Christmas spirit this year. This video titled Autonomous Christmas Lab 2014 is all about robots celebrating a human holiday. Not satisfied to just take our jobs, they are taking our holidays now too.

The folks at Autonomous Systems Lab, part of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, programmed these robots, drones, and even a few Roombas to dance in holiday clothing for our entertainment. It’s creepy and weird. All I can say is, they better not take our gifts.

They do seem very happy about the holiday. I guess they were good ‘bots and didn’t get a stocking full of silicone.
