Modular construction toys like LEGO and K’nex usually have many different parts and pieces. This variety allows for beautiful and complex builds, but it can also be intimidating or tedious at times. So the makers of Pinblock came up with a simple solution: have only one type of block.
Save for their color, all Pinblock blocks are the same. Each piece has two pins, which fit into one or both of the holes under each block.
Because of the cylindrical pins and the block’s beveled edges, you can easily bend or rotate parts of your Pinblock creations. The block’s wide and flat sides also make it suited for pixel art. Here’s a preview of Pinblock courtesy of Dad Does:
