I didn’t play the SEGA Genesis console all that much when it first hit big. I was more of a Nintendo guy back then. I did get into some of those Genesis games a few years later though and that console had a lot of classic games. If I ever decide to play it again, I think I’ll get a special custom console like this one.
This Sonic the Hedgehog console is the work of Etsy seller 8bitevolutiongaming. This console is painted similarly to those custom painted vans from the 70s. It was painted using high quality automotive paint, and clear coat for durability. The set includes a working SEGA Genesis console and one matching controller.
It’s only $250(USD) – not bad for a work of original art that doubles as a playable retro console.
