Halo Online Closed Beta Heads to Russia: In Soviet Russian, Halo Plays You

 |  |  |  |  March 26, 2015

A new Halo game is kicking off its closed beta in Russia. The game is called Halo Online and it has no campaign mode. 343 Industries says that the game is an attempt to get more people into the Halo universe and it will be a free game.

It’s a multiplayer PC only game and uses a highly modified Halo 3 game engine. It’s not aiming for the best possible graphics, 343 says that Halo Online is specifically optimized for low-end PCs. For now, there is no plan to bring the game outside of Russia.

343 is working on the game with Saber Interactive and Innova Systems. In fact, Halo Online will be distributed via the Innova 4game platform. It’s unclear when the game might exit closed beta.
