This amazing R2-D2 coffee table features the guts from a Star Wars pinball machine from 1991. It features external lights and R2 sound effects too. There’s also a light that resembles Artoo’s holographic projector. Basically it is the best coffee table ever.

I’ve never known anyone to wear a robe on a normal basis other than people in movies. The only time we ever wore robes growing up was Christmas Day so mom could take pictures that didn’t involve kids in their underwear.

I started watching The X-Files again on Netflix recently and a few things jumped out at me I had forgotten. The first is clothing and hairstyles were terrible in the early ’90s. The second was I forgot how hot Scully is.

The Bruno dumps trash cans into the era of smart appliances. It has a motion sensing lid, it tells you when it’s low on trash bags, and it can remind you when to take out the trash.

The latest in crazy selfie-taking gadgets is this weird fiberglass Selfie Arm that will make it look like you are not alone, even though you are. And this is exactly why you are alone! Who does that?

Every time I watch The Avengers, I think to myself that Hawkeye really doesn’t belong there with the others. His only superpower seems to be shooting an arrow and having good vision. Black Widow is questionable as well but she likes tight clothing and can throw a punch so I am willing to let her slide for now.

A couple of years ago we checked out artist Andy Stattmiller’s Star Wars nesting dolls. He’s made more pop culture nesting dolls since then, the latest being this set based on the Batman TV series from the sixties.

I guarantee you that you have never seen the Ghostbusters looking so cute. These 9-inch plush figures will frighten ghosts, but warm your own cold heart. They ain’t ‘fraid of no ghost! The whole team is here and you can choose from Peter, Egon, Ray, and Winston.

Winter is over and Spring is here with Summer shortly behind. That means that most of us no longer need warm fleece blankets. But even in the 105-degree Texas weather, we still need blankets for one thing – picnics.

Redditor Hypnotyks recently shared something more useful than a wooden shield: a complete map of Yharnam, the setting of the PS4 exclusive Bloodborne. Hypnotyks made several versions of the map, including one that indicates the locations of Lanterns and one with a parchment background.

While Halloween is still almost six months away, I can think of no costume I’d rather be wearing this year than this awesome giant cat head. This amazing creation was made by artist Housetu Sato and a team of students from the Japan School of Wool Art, and it simply the most awesome / creepy / weird  thing you’ll see today.

Futurama fans can now get their hands on a set of Funko POP vinyl figures of characters from the show. You can’t buy up the whole crew, but a few of the main characters are here.

As far as I know, we never really got any good horror movie games on the Atari 800. But if we had gotten some good horror games for the system, they would have been very much like this version of The Shining, done in the old Atari 8-bit style by Pippin Barr.

A few years ago we saw a prototype for a robot with gecko-like pads, allowing it to stick to and move on uneven and vertical surfaces. A group of Stanford students made two robots with the same inspiration, but this time instead of settling for wall-climbing, these tiny robots are designed to drag objects that are a hundred to two thousand times their own weight.

I try to not go into the bathroom my son uses unless I have too. He’s a slob and yes, I know he gets it from me. He has some sort of problem with using the exhaust fan so each time he showers, so condensation drips from everything.

iOS devices have good cameras but limited storage, so recording videos on them can be a hassle especially if you’re only waiting for a particular moment to happen. That’s what the new app Vaptur is trying to solve.
