Brain Specimen Coasters are Perfect for Mad Scientists

 |  |  |  |  April 21, 2015

Coasters are those things that your mom had sitting on the coffee table growing up that no one ever used. If you are now all grown up and want your own coasters to yell at people about using, these are for you. Rather than being chunks of wood or cork, these are glass with printings of brain slices on them.

Each of the coasters has a different section of the brain printed on it and when stacked look like a 3-dimensional brain sitting on your table. I think Dexter Morgan would find these coasters perfect for his house.

The set includes ten glass coasters and stacking them in order is easy thanks to specimen labels on them. Each of the coasters also has rubber feet to protect your wood and space them apart when stacked. They measure 4″x4″ and you will have to hand wash them – you wouldn’t want to get brains all over your dishwasher anyhow. You can get a set on ThinkGeek for $19.99.
