Growing up, my cousins, friends, and I played a lot of Dungeons & Dragons. I can remember us all pitching in and picking up a rulebook from a garage sale or something that was tattered but workable. The only thing I recall about that book was one with a big dragon on the cover.
A geek has taken that same book and used the cover art as inspiration to recreate the entire cover – sans words – in LEGO. This is a big, flat mosaic that uses twenty different colors of bricks snapped onto 30 extra large baseplates.
Flat or not, it’s awesome. It took Eric Harshbarger over 50,000 LEGO bricks to create the giant mosaic. This thing is 75″ wide and 90″ tall and took two months of work to build.
