Isocase Protects Your Smartphone by Hiding It in a Tablet

Here’s an interesting smartphone case with a hilariously tangential pitch. Isominds claims that their product will protect your phone, but actually Isocase’s main draw is giving you a bigger screen and battery. In other words, the case turns your phone into a tablet. That’s like making a pair of jeans and calling it a smartphone case.

Isocase is a dumb terminal tablet similar to the ASUS Padfone. It has a 10,000mAh battery and a 7.9″ 2048×1536 IPS display. The difference here is that – supposedly – the case will protect your phone from impacts, scratches, dust and water. The Isocase’s touchscreen will also be protected by Gorilla Glass.

Another crucial difference here is that the Isocase will reportedly support many Samsung Galaxy and iPhone models:

Isominds claims it will give you an Isocase as a reward for pledging at least $149 (USD) on Indiegogo. But once again I implore you to wait for proof of the actual product or at least its prototype before you hand your money over. This is one of those products that just seems too good to be true, though I’d love to be proven wrong.
