Watch the Kill Bill Katana Remade with Traditional Japanese Methods

I grew up watching all the old martial arts movies I could find on late night TV. I was always particularly enamored with the samurai and the katana sword. Perhaps the most famous movie with a Katana sword in it is Kill Bill.

Man at Arms: Reforged decided to replicate the Kill Bill sword using traditional Japanese forging methods. Incredibly, the build started with 1,100 pounds of charcoal to make their own metal from ore.

The finished product is embellished with 24k gold and could definitely find its way in the hands of a Japanese samurai protecting his master, or a hot blonde looking to kill her former boss. Watch the video to see the build, it’s awesome.
