3D Printed Thorn Airsoft Gun Case Mod: Kinetic Damage

 |  |  |  |  |  July 23, 2015

Kirby Downey loves to 3D print fictional weapons as a hobby. His latest work is a case for an automatic electric pistol in the form of Destiny‘s beloved hand cannon Thorn.

The case is based on Kirby’s life-size Thorn scale model, modified to fit┬áthe CYMA Glock 18C AEP. It’s made of 10 3D printed parts, which took about 48 hours to print. It also has metal dowels that help keep the parts together. His friend Catherine Wood did the wonderful paint job on the case.
