The past couple of years we’ve seen PCs the size of flash drives. The Gnarbox is a specialized portable PC. Designed to let you view, store, edit and share videos and images on the go, this tiny computer uses the iPhone as its screen and interface.
The Gnarbox is aimed at sports and outdoor enthusiasts or photographers, beating even the smallest of laptops in terms of portability. It has a quad-core 2.2GHz CPU, an 8-core GPU, 4GB RAM, 128GB flash storage, two USB 3.0 ports, an SD and microSD slot and a battery that lasts up to 8 hours.
It can process and edit 4K videos, RAW files and other high definition formats with the help of its iPhone app. The app will also work with the iPad, but with the same (enlarged) iPhone interface. The Android app will be released after Gnarbox is commercially available.
Pledge at least $149 (USD) on Kickstarter to receive a Gnarbox as a reward.
