I have said it before, and I’ll say it again – I love the film Alien. It was scary and awesome at the same time and made Sigourney Weaver into one of the first female badasses on screen that I can remember.
Izzy Swan knows the drill. He loves the drill. He must, because he likes to make machines that are driven by an ordinary battery-powered hand drill. He’s made a drill-powered table saw, a lawn mower, and a mini bike.

Geeky Hooker loves to crochet amigurumi. Sometimes she sells them, but mostly she gives them away by dropping them off at various locations. She’s at the San Diego Comic-Con this week, and she’s hiding eight of her creations for anyone to find.
I’ve always wanted my own K.I.T.T. car, but I didn’t want to do the whole fake my own death, change identities and get a face change thing. Luckily, now I don’t have to thanks to ThinkGeek who are offering a USB charger that looks like KITT’s voicebox from the ’80s series Knight Rider.

By using materials such as wooden dowels, PEX tubing and hot glue, Dustin says he spent only about $15 (USD) on the arm.
