A while back we checked out the Lytro, a cool camera with a truly unique feature – the ability to refocus images at any point after they’re taken. When the Lytro was first released, it cost almost $500 for the 16GB model. Subsequently, Lytro released a prosumer version, and the first-gen camera dropped in price to about $199. Now, you can get a first-gen Lytro in the Technabob Shop for just $79.99!
The tech under the hood of the Lytro creates what they call “Living Pictures,” which can be refocused, and even have their perspective manipulated using either the included software or shared on the web for your friends to play with. You can check out a number of these amazing images in the Lytro image gallery.
The 16GB Lytro includes enough storage for about 750 images, has 8x optical zoom, and a 1.5″ touchscreen. At just 4.4″ long, it’s small enough to carry anywhere too. Head on over to the Technabob Shop now to grab one before they’re all gone.
