Programmable, Mechanical & Split Keyboard: Ultimate Hacking Keyboard

 |  |  |  |  |  |  |  October 18, 2015

What are you looking for in a keyboard? Comfort? Feel? Functionality? The folks at Ultimate Gadget Labs believe they’ve created the only keyboard you’ll need. It may even replace your mouse. They call it the Ultimate Hacking Keyboard.

The Ultimate Hacking Keyboard’s most striking feature is also it’s most obvious. You can split the two halves to adjust to your preferred typing position for more comfort. You can use the keyboard as one piece if you wish.

The keyboard’s other defining features are its layers. It has four preset layers, including a mouse layer, so with some practice you won’t have to move your hands off of the keyboard. It will also have a complementary programming app so you can remap keys, make macros and even application-specific layouts. All bindings are stored within the keyboard itself so you can use them with any computer.

Finally, when ordering the keyboard you’ll be able to pick from six different Cherry MX Switches as well as Windows, Mac, Linux or blank keycap prints.
