Emoji Keyboard: Literal Type Faces

by Shane McGlaun

I’m not much of an emoji user this side of the occasional smiley face. I don’t need a fancy keyboard to use that. My daughter on the other hand likes to text me with long lines of emoji. I’m pretty sure neither of us knows what she is trying to say. If you like to use gobs of emoji when you type, these new keyboards from EmojiWorks will make that much easier.

These keyboards offer access to all the emoji available, assuming you pick the Pro version. The basic Emoji Keyboard has 47 common emoji and normal keys so you can hit the special emoji button and then press the color emoji printed on the keys.

The Plus version has twice as many emoji as the basic version and the pro version has over 120 emoji to use. The pro version does look rather cluttered to me. Both the plus and pro versions allow you to choose your skintone for emoji as well. Pricing ranges from $79.95 for the basic up to $99.95 for the pro. All are Bluetooth keyboards and work with PC, Mac, or mobile devices.
