I like to cook and I really like to eat. The problem is that sometimes when I get home from work and everyone’s like “What’s for dinner?” and all I want to do is watch The Walking Dead before Facebook dicks give up spoilers, cooking is the last thing I want to do. Crackers, that’s what’s for dinner. Until you can buy a Star Trek replicator, the Gourmia GKM9000 might be the next best thing.
You can’t exactly tell it “Tea, Earl Grey, Hot” and get an instant fix of whatever you are hankering for, but it’s easier than actually getting out knives, and safer too because if you complain about my cooking I will cut you. This machine is web connected, has a companion app, a LCD display, internal recipes, and an integrated scale. What that means is you choose the recipe, put in the ingredients and the cooker will chop, mix, and cook your food for you.
It can cook rice, pasta, vegetables, soups, sauces, and lots more. It can even make whip cream and knead dough. If it will help make fresh bread, it’s for me. I only count carbs to be sure I ate them all. Once you finally sit down to watch The Walking Dead, the companion mobile app will let you keep an eye on how far along your meal is rather than having to pause 57 times to check that it’s not burning. It’s not cheap at $599.99(USD), but awesome rarely is. I need this in my life. Gourmia, make it so.
