Alien Queen Piggy Bank: In Space, No One Can Hear You Spend

by Shane McGlaun

Normally when I want to save my quarters, I just toss them in this jar my wife has on the nightstand, or I just leave them in my pockets so they can fall out in the dryer and make an incredible racket. I never bother with putting change in a piggy bank. I might use a piggy bank if it looked like the head of the Alien queen.

This frightening xenomorph bank will keep your coins safe, and has a coin release door on the base so you don’t have to smash it to get your money out. It’s made from vinyl and was sculpted by Jean St. Jean. It stands 8″ tall x 4.5″ wide x 8″ deep.

I think this bank should be one of those mechanical sorts where the bank picks up the change and deposits it in the holder. The inner mouth thing should come out, grab the coin and swallow it down to the chamber. That would be awesome. At least the inner mouth could fly out and bite people trying to get your coins.

You can get the Alien piggy bank at ThinkGeek for $29.99(USD).
