The Nimble Urban Is a Business Scooter

The Nimble Urban Is a Business Scooter
So you want a cool personal transporter that can carry your stuff. Bikes take up too much space. Segways are too slow and expensive. A group of industrial design students at California State University in Long Beach wanted to tackle these problems, so they invented the Nimble Urban: a human-powered scooter with a built-in cargo platform. The Nimble will carry your briefcase or other cargo, and you can propel it on its way.

Iron Man + TRON = TRONMan

Iron Man + TRON = TRONMan
I’m not familiar with Sam Kwok Workshop, but the work done there is fantastic. Just take a look at this Iron Man action figure. It started life as a Hot Toys 1/6 scale Ironman Mark 9 action figure that started out in Tony Stark’s fancy red and gold color scheme What it is now is black with blue trim like it was straight out TRON: Legacy.

Hi-C Ecto Cooler Returns this Summer

Hi-C Ecto Cooler Returns this Summer
Back in the day when Ghostbusters first hit the screen it was one of the first movies that I remember having lots of product tie-ins. There were toys, cartoons, even foods and drinks that went along with the film.

This Death Star Fire Pit Is the Ultimate Power in the Neighborhood

This Death Star Fire Pit Is the Ultimate Power in the Neighborhood
There have been a number of Death Star fire pits floating around the internet, but this one has some extra nice detailing that makes it look awesome when set ablaze. This one came out of a high school welding class of all places. The ultimate weapon was created by a group of welding students from Harlem High School in Machesney Park, IL, and is just about the coolest thing ever to be made in a high school shop class.

LEGO Engineer Kinetic Sculpture: Gearhead

LEGO Engineer Kinetic Sculpture: Gearhead
Many geeks are familiar with LEGO enthusiast Jason Allemann. But he’s only half of the entity we know as JK Brickworks. The “K” is his partner Kristal. This is one of her latest LEGO builds, which she calls the Engineer. As Jason mentions in the video below, this is the second in Kristal’s ongoing series of LEGO sculptures of heads.

PolySmooth PVB and Polysher Isn’t a New Rap Group

PolySmooth PVB and Polysher Isn’t a New Rap Group
If you were a parrot who wanted to get into the rap scene, PolySmooth PVB and the Polysher would be a great name for you and your DJ. This has nothing to do with rap music though, PolySmooth PVB is a new 3D printing filament, and the Polysher is a fancy gizmo that makes the plastic smooth and shiny. When the PolySmooth PVB filament is done printing from your 3D printer, it will have a matte finish and the lines you get from the layer printing process.

Fallout Funko Dorbz Figures Have +2 Charisma

Fallout Funko Dorbz Figures Have +2 Charisma
I’ve spent a lot of time playing Fallout 4, enough to know super mutants are giant green wussies that die easily. The only ones I really hate are the Suiciders that run up and try to blow you up with a mini nuke.

Introducing: The New Pip-Boy

Introducing: The New Pip-Boy
Check out this Apple style promo that focuses on the one piece of equipment that we all love in Fallout, the Pip-Boy. This internal Bethesda Game Studios video dates back to the Holidays of 2013. It was used to show-off what the new Pip-Boy looked like to the company, and features Apple’s design chief Jony Ive to make it extra realistic. I agree with everything Jony says in this video.
