I’ve never played Dark Souls; I’m more a Fallout 4 kind of guy myself. If you have ever played Dark Souls, you know that Estus is essentially the healing potion that cures you from whatever is wrong with you.
It’s not convenient for regular people like us to call for Batman’s help. You need a high rooftop, then you have to make a large spotlight that will call the Caped Crusader. Then, that spotlight takes a lot of power.
OppoSuits makes suits with loud and themed patterns. One of their newest products is an officially licensed Pac-Man suit, which is printed all over with the stage, pellets, ghosts and the yellow man himself.
The modern cut is a pleasant surprise, although obviously a slim-fitting suit is not for everyone.
The original NES Zapper is one of the most iconic video game controllers of all time. At best, it was great fun, and at worst it was a source of frustration. The most damage you could do with one was maybe throw it across the room at your kid brother – until now.
The guys at Precision Syndicate took a functional Glock pistol, and refinished it to look exactly like the same weapon you used to pick off birds in Duck Hunt.
The weapon looks really cool, though I don’t recommend playing Wild Gunman with it, unless you want a pile of shattered glass in place of your 70″ Samsung.
Etsy shop Oki007 sells necklaces with geeky pendants, such as Master Chief, Big Daddy and a Fallout Power Armor. But perhaps the shop’s most eye-catching pendant is this one based on the Protoss’ fundamental structure.
The pendant’s crystal is made of resin, while the ring around it as well as the chain are made of gold-coated brass.
Your life requires additional pylon.
We’ve seen a couple of fan-made wearable Pip-Boy replicas with useful functions. Will Sweatman wanted to make the most advanced Pip-Boy 3000 yet, and he believes he’s succeeded. In exchange for some sizable junk in its trunk, his replica is a Swiss army knife for explorers.
Inside the Pip-Boy 3000 Mk.II’s
One of the many cool things Marvel has revealed in its trailers for Captain America: Civil War is Tony Stark’s new Iron Man glove, which he pulls out of his watch just in time to stop a pistol round that the Winter Soldier shot at him.
I have lots of respect for the men and women of the armed forces. I also have more than a bit of jealousy for all those men and women who get to fly. Given a reboot, I would totally be a pilot flying anything that would break those Earthly bonds and whatnot.
There are wine drinkers and then there are WINE drinkers. The former will have a glass of chardonnay every now and then, while the latter worries that their wine will go bad and wants it chilled and ready for action.
I recently got my hands on a selection of audio gear from Raumfeld, a German maker of high-end audio systems who recently made their entry into the U.S. market. I’m a big fan of their Stereo Cubes bookshelf speakers, and now I’m checking out their Sounddeck home theater speaker system to see if it lives up to the same quality.
The Sounddeck sits somewhere between a soundbar and a full-size home theater system, containing its entire system inside a pedestal for your TV.
The wonders of modern technology. These days if you are lonely, you can build yourself a robot bride. You probably shouldn’t, but you can if you want to. And if you do, why not build one that looks like your favorite movie star Scarlett Johansson?
Another day, another Raspberry Pi retro emulator in a Game Boy case. But Redditor wermy426’s Game Boy Zero deserves its own post because it has a couple of neat features. The main one is that he loads software on the Pi by inserting a cartridge, just as you would load a game on a normal Game Boy.
Normally when I want to save my quarters, I just toss them in this jar my wife has on the nightstand, or I just leave them in my pockets so they can fall out in the dryer and make an incredible racket.
Ant Lucia’s pin-up style take on DC Comics’ heroines has expanded from statues, comic books and now a clothing line. Hot Topic’s officially licensed DC Comics Bombshells Collection features casual takes on the some of the sexy ’40s and ’50s costumes, including Batwoman’s baseball dress and Harley Quinn’s aviator jacket.
I’m sure talented cosplayers can make more stylish and accurate versions of the Bombshells’ costumes, but these aren’t that bad.
