I’m jealous of people who can play the guitar. I have tried many times, but I just can’t do it. Well, YouTuber WayOutWest built a contraption that fingers entire chords on a guitar at the push of a button. Even I could play guitar using this device.
He calls it the Chordelia. The wooden housing clamps to the neck of the guitar, and each of the chord paddles triggers levers that do all the work for you. It looks crazy, but it works. Sure, you won’t be able to play anything too fast or complicated, but it gives you five chords – G, D, C, A minor, and E minor, which is all you need for basic stuff.
It costs $260(USD), but if you are hopeless, like me, it may just help you play guitar. If you don’t want to spend so much, you might want to check out the ChordBuddy, which offers a similar capability for just about 40 bucks.
