Tajima Seiryo Jacket Cooling System: Chillicoat

I don’t know about you, but where I am, this summer is just too damn hot. If only I had a jetpack type fan that I could mount to myself to shoot cool air up my spine. Wait! It already exists! The Tajima Seiryo Jacket Cooling System is your own personal air supply.

This crazy contraption is a strong clip-on three-speed fan, connected to a flexible silicone funnel, to blow a cool curtain of air all over your body. It basically dries sweat before it has time to stick to your clothes. It’s powered by a large 5,500 mAh battery, which should last between 6 hours and 8.5 hours, depending on the speed setting.

It’s so crazy it just might work. Obviously it looks ridiculous, but if it gets hot enough, this thing will cool you down. Maybe just don’t wear it in public. Check out the video to see it in action, along with Tajima’s similarly silly cooling headgear.
