The Rhino Hammer Belongs in Every Zookeeper’s Toolbox

 |  |  |  |  August 23, 2016

This unique hand tool wants to make your toolbox into its natural habitat. This hammer is designed to look like a rhinoceros, but it’s not just for show – it’s a functional hammer for driving nails that looks like a beast.

When not in use, it will look like a cool desk toy sitting in your tool shop, but just extend it and it will serve as a real hammer too. It measures just 4.7 inches when not extended and 6.1 inches long when extended. It’s perfect for simple jobs around the house. It is made of aluminum for the head and grip, striped stainless steel for the driving face, and carbon steel for the extendable handle.

If you want one, check out the Kickstarter campaign. You can reserve your very own Rhino Hammer for $43(USD).
