I always imagined that R2-D2 was one of those happy morning people that folks who have a hard time getting up and going each morning would hate. I see R2 beeping his way up and down the halls waking everyone.

McLaren recently announced that they are developing a pure electric vehicle. To celebrate, the company is releasing a primer EV: a McLaren P1 Ride-On for kids age 3 to 6. This kid-sized version of the hybrid supercar even comes with the original’s scissor (aka billionaire) doors, so your kid can impress all the other kids on the playground.

The way we ride bikes now is to just sit there, peddling, hunched forward. When you think about it, it’s kind of unnatural. If this Bird of Prey bike takes off, people will be riding bikes in a whole new way though.

It’s hard to imagine that there was a time when drones took shaky videos. The good ones are so stable now. The biggest problem right now is the size, but that is getting better too. DJI’s Mavic Pro is a good example.

Youtuber TechRax likes to buy expensive gadgets and destroy them for views. Yeah, this kind of stuff gets old pretty quick, but it’s gotten him over 5 million subscribers. And the only reason I’m sharing this video with you guys is because his latest video has Rax at the top of Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world.

Seriously, is there anything that Adam Savage can’t do? He is always amazing us with his projects. His latest build is a collaboration with Honda, in which he and the Tested crew converted a Honda Ridgeline pickup truck into a portable movie theater.
