A Song of Ice and Fire Cyvasse Board Game Actually Exists

by Conner Flynn

If you have read the A Song of Ice and Fire books, then you already know the game of Cyvasse, but there has never been an official description of how the game looks, so people have been creating their own versions. However, this one by Bristol Design Forge may be the coolest that I’ve seen thus far. It also may be the most accurate, based on the rules from the novels. It is a thing of beauty.

The details here are amazing. Each piece is hand-drawn and laser engraved. The board and pieces have been hand-finished and waxed for protection. The 8×8 board has a screen, 66 land tiles, 46 player pieces, and two different sets of rules. This is going to kill it on game night.

It looks like it has come shipped straight from Westeros. You can get you hands on it for about $130(USD) on Etsy, which is a steal.
