House Built on a Giant Turntable So It Can Face the Sun All Day Long

Check out this home in Norway that was built on a giant turntable. No, it doesn’t play tunes as it spins around, although that would be an awesome bonus. The idea is that it can be remotely rotated for maximum sun exposure, or to control the view out the windows. Stupid rich people, having things I want!

The video below is a news report about Jarle Hegerland’s home. It’s in Norwegian, but that’s okay. You don’t need to understand the language to see that this is an awesome house. There is a huge motor underneath the dwelling that turns the platform. The big question that we still have is, how did they install the plumbing and electricity if the house can spin like that?

Hopefully it doesn’t go crazy and start spinning out of control.
