Remember the WalkCar? Well, you can soon buy this scooter that resembles a laptop on wheels. Cocoa motors will be offering the WalkCar for pre-order starting on October 21.
They have now perfected the design and here are the final specs: It is about the same size as a 13-inch laptop, weighs 6.2-pounds with a carbon fiber frame, and the electric motors can propel it to speeds of up to 10 mph. The battery is good for about a full hour. It works by steering it gently by leaning your body from side-to-side. When you get to your destination, just pop it in your bag.
The WalkCar will cost you $1,280(USD). You’ll have to be patient though since pre-orders aren’t expected to ship until September of next year.
