These Christmas Lights Deter Burglars

Christmas is a time when friends and family get together to celebrate. Sadly, this also means that there are many empty houses, which are easy pickings for burglars. This means a lot of families get robbed during the holidays. Fortunately, the Danish have come up with a simple solution.

Every year at this time robberies go up in Denmark by 50% or more. That’s why Danish Neighborhood Watch came up with an ingenious solution. Christmas Spotlights are innocent looking lights that have a second, more powerful mode that pushes out 12,000 lumens of brightness. They have a built-in motion sensor that detects unwanted trespassers and shines a blinding light on them. This makes criminals flee without a bag full of goodies.

The light is bright enough that neighbors can see and hopefully alert the authorities since you aren’t home. According to the ad, they are bright enough to thwart an alien invasion as well. Good thinking, Danish Neighborhood Watch.
