Pokémon Go Goes Pink This Valentine’s Season

For the next few days Pokémon Go is going to be noticeably pinker. For Valentine’s Day 2017, pink Pokémon like Chansey, Porygon and Clefable will spawn a lot more often, and if you want some cute pink baby Pokémon, you are also in luck. They’re more likely to hatch into Cleffa, Igglybuff and Smoochum, as well.

You’ll also get double the amount of candy when you catch, hatch or transfer a Pokémon to the Professor. Each lure will keep attracting Pokémon for six hours instead of the usual 30 minutes too. If you are spending your days with your head buried in your smartphone playing this game, you might not have a significant other, so this is as good a way to celebrate as any.

The event begins today, 11AM PST/2PM EST, and will run until 11AM PST on February 15th.  Love is in the air, but you are breathing only Pokémon. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Happy V-Day.
